Well-rounded and cohesive graphic design.

About

I graduated from DePaul University in 2009 with a degree in graphic design and a sense of how lucky I was—when other people were struggling with ideas about what they wanted to do in life—to know that I was passionate and excited about being a graphic designer. I have always loved art, but when I was younger I had often struggled with self-authoring concepts and ideas. I found that my creativity blossomed most when placed within the parameters of a project. My best pieces from those years were class projects in which I transformed the original assignment into a creative end-product, like a hand-sewn quilt for a high school Shakespeare unit, or a pop-up book for a World Cultures assignment.

Now, in my work as a professional designer, I continue to seek the kind of design solutions that go beyond conventional thinking. I have spent the past 4 years designing pieces that I feel passionately about, using my creativity to deeply explore all aspects of a project — whether creating hand-lettered typography for a logo, making an illustration to complement the design of a brochure, or creating copy to clarify a client’s product. For every project I strive to create truly sound, well-rounded, and cohesive design.
